LAKE GUNTERSVILLE STATE PARK LODGE ROOM, CABIN, OR CHALET LODGING OPTION

We recommend that you book your lodging at the park as early as possible! SEPARC has a room block at Lake Guntersville State Park until February 10. After this date all unreserved rooms, cabins, and chalets will be released and opened to the public.

LAKE GUNTERSVILLE STATE PARK CAMPING OPTION

Lake Guntersville State Park’s Main Campground is situated alongside Guntersville's 69,000-acre lake. The main campground includes 282 improved campsites, a primitive camping area, bathhouses (two equipped with a washer and dryer), playground and recreation area (including a splash pad), and The Campground Store.  All improved campsites have water and electrical hookups, a picnic table, grill, and a fire ring; some sections also have sewer hookups.

OTHER LODGING OPTIONS

If you are unable to reserve a room at Lake Guntersville State Park, there are hotel options located in the towns of Guntersville and Albertville which are within 30 minutes of Lake Guntersville State Park.

Silent Auction Items Needed!

 We need your help in rounding up some awesome treasures for our annual silent auction. Hosting a silent auction at our meeting is one of the ways we support meeting costs, presentation awards, travel grants, and other organization action items. Please help us with this event by dropping items donated at the registration table when you arrive onsite. We can't wait for another fun event!

The SEPARC Annual Photo Contest will occur during each annual meeting with final judging and announcement of winners at the award ceremony on Saturday, the last full day of the meeting. 

Categories: 

There will be two categories, 1) Amphibians and 2) Reptiles. Photos can be of animal subjects in their natural habitat, portraits of species in captive environments, and species and people engaged in conservation, outreach, and/or research-related activities. Additionally, please ensure that the image was obtained ethically (i.e. permits required to interact with the animal were available and the animal was not placed under undue stress for the photo).
