SEPARC 2024

We are excited to see everyone next week for the 2024 SEPARC Annual Meeting (February 29–March 3, 2024)!  We are very much looking forward to celebrating the 25th Anniversary of SEPARC!   


  • Registration for the 2024 Annual SEPARC Meeting (February 29–March 3, 2024) has closed.    

  • The online apparel store for the 2024 SEPARC Annual Meeting has closed.

    Pre-purchased t-shirts and/or hoodies can be picked up at the registration desk. There will be a limited supply of extra shirts/hoodies available for purchase at the meeting.

    We will also have pint glasses, koozies, tote bags, and stickers available for purchase at the meeting.

  • Please click here to book your lodging for our annual meeting. If you are sharing a lodge room and have not yet registered, please do so at the link above and note in the comments the name of your roommate.

    *If lodging is dorm style, please bring your own linens!

  • Check out the final agenda for the symposia and events that we have lined up. We will be hosting the  Early Professional/Career Development panel after the welcome reception on Thursday evening. *Please note that the Thursday evening meal will be a plated dinner from 6-7pm CT.

    **All 10-min and 15-min oral presentation times should include time for speaking and questions.

    We would like to encourage you to bring your own reusable drinking vessel – cup, mug or water bottle or purchase a pint glass!

  • Silent Auction Items Needed!

 We need your help in rounding up some awesome treasures for our annual silent auction. Hosting a silent auction at our meeting is one of the ways we support meeting costs, presentation awards, travel grants, and other organization action items. Please help us with this event by dropping items donated at the registration table when you arrive onsite. We can't wait for another fun event!

  • Travel grant awardees are expected to assist with small meeting tasks a(registration, help setup, etc.). Please coordinate at the registration desk upon arrival.

  • Photo Contest!

    There will be two categories in our annual photo contest – Amphibians & Reptiles. Photos can be of animal subjects in their natural habitat, portraits of species in captive environments, and species and people engaged in conservation, outreach, and/or research-related activities.

    Photos must be of southeastern (or Caribbean) reptile and amphibian species. Individuals are allowed to submit one photo for each category. A matted photo must be brought to the annual meeting (format below) as well as a digital submission. Digital submission is needed before the start of the event in order to qualify. Photo must be taken by the contestant and the contestant must be in attendance of the annual meeting.
